Dr. Shapiro graduated with a BS in Microbiology and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University. He received his D.O. degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his fellowship in cardiology at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine
